Job Description

Pay: $35–$40/hour

Location: Remote (Zoom-based)

Schedule: Mondays–Thursdays, 3:30 PM–9:00 PM CST

Max Students Per Session: 15

About the Role:
SiSTEM is hiring an expert-level Introductory Calculus 1 Bootcamp Instructor to guide students through key foundational topics in differential calculus. This live, online bootcamp is designed for high school seniors and focuses on concept mastery, problem-solving strategies, and real-time support.

Sessions are interactive, collaborative, and responsive to student needs, whether they’re preparing for exams, tackling assignments, or trying to build confidence in the subject.

Core Topics You'll Cover:

Limits and continuity.
Derivatives : Rules, applications, and interpretations.
Rate of change and motion problems.
Graphing using the first and second derivatives.
Optimization and related rates.

You’re a Strong Fit If You:

Have 2+ years of experience teaching or tutoring Calculus 1 (differential calculus).
Can confidently guide students through abstract concepts and step-by-step problem solving.
Are comfortable leading groups of up to 15 students in a virtual bootcamp format.
Know how to foster critical thinking and confidence in math.
Are familiar with college-level Calculus 1 standards or AP Calculus AB content.
