We are now seeking a skilled Controller to enhance our financial operations and contribute to our continued growth.

Job Qualifications:

• Proficient in Jonas Club Software
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA is strongly preferred but not required
• Minimum 5 years of financial management experience, preferably in a country club, HOA, or hospitality setting
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, budgeting, and data analysis
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Expertise in financial planning, cash flow management, reserve fund tracking, and investment oversight
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Job Responsibilities:

As a Controller in McDowell Mountain, Arizona, you will:

• Lead financial operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and ledger management
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting, ensuring alignment with the Association’s goals
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
• Present financial information to the Board, GM/COO, and FIC with clarity and visual aids
• Manage annual audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Collaborate with the Investment Committee on investment performance
• Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets with the Finance & Investment Committee
• Maintain and update the Reserve Study for capital needs assessments
• Use Jonas Club Software for financial reporting and operational analytics
• Communicate complex financial data clearly to stakeholders and serve as a financial advisor
