Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides thought leadership and consultative support to organizational leaders and team members (“customers”) for Employee Relations-related needs and issues. Serves on a team of experts that helps customers navigate complex and nuanced issues such as policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, compliance with annual mandatory requirements, etc. While the Partner does not conduct formal investigations, they work closely with the Advisor team to ensure a smooth handoff should a situation require escalation to a formal investigation.   • Leverages the Advise & Counsel (“A&C”) technology suite (e.g., telephony, case management system), standard work tools, operational practices to intake, triage, and resolve Employee Relations consultations with organizational leaders and team members.
  • Utilizes strong interpersonal skills and provides compassion and empathy in every customer interaction regardless of the interaction medium (e.g., case management system, phone).
  • Coaches and redirects customers to the appropriate HR channel (e.g., self-service, Business HR) if the issue does not fall within their scope. This coaching and redirection supports the overall HR operating model, as well as broader organizational goals.
  • Uses the technology suite and operational practices to interact with HR Hub, other A&C teams, and other Employee Relations-related stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance) to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience while mitigating risk for the organization to the extent possible.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities and trends in the Partner’s case types/volumes that could lead to improved service, more effective use of technology, and/or training opportunities within A&C or BJC as a whole. Participates in improvement initiatives or other projects as directed by A&C leadership.
