Job Description

Private Principal in Palm Beach, FL with a 5,000 square-foot home is looking to hire a Live-in or Live-out Domestic Couple to work 5 days a week.  A private bedroom and bathroom inside the main residence, with a separate entrance, will be provided.  

Job Responsibilities: 

• House management and daily maintenance (interior).  Perform deep cleaning: wash, dust, polish, vacuum, and sweep.
• Deep clean the residence
• Sort and wash laundry using machines or by hand as required
• Iron, fold and distribute laundry
• Cooking for the Principal when needed
• Home organization
• Work with antiques, delicate/fragile items, fine linen, artwork, etc.
• Organize closets, pantries, shelves etc.
• Maintain and ensure adequate stock of house supplies & cleaning supplies
• Prepare home for overnight guests/parties/gatherings 
• Turn down service at night and bed (s) made every morning
• Report any maintenance issues
• Assist with meal preparation, serving and clean up
• Drive the Principle when needed
• Serving and clean up after meals
• Supervise suppliers and maintenance services
• Sweet back area and maintain pool cushions / pool furniture
• Additional errands as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years + experience
• Ability to manage your time efficiently
• Work well unsupervised.
• Ability to lift boxes.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests
• Ability to work well with a team
• Travel as needed
• Open to working weekends

Requested Duration: Many years!

Position Responsibilities

• Work Days/Hours: Saturday – Wednesday…daily hours vary depending on the needs. Generally an 10 -12 hour day…Some days shorter.
• Languages: English
• Experience: 5+ years working as a Domestic Couple 
• Proactive Common Sense and ability to work without being micromanaged
• Submit to extensive background screenings and drug testing
• Must have a clean drivers license
• Must provide valid references

Position Compensation

• Salary: $175,000 + Depending on experience
• Vacation: Yes
• Health Insurance: Stipend toward your own plan
