Job Description

Live to Move Physical Therapy & Wellness is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team at our only clinic on the border of Manvel and Pearland. This person will work to support the daily operations of the office.  The ideal candidate is efficient with a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate compassionately and clearly in both written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpersonal Communications - Managing the phones & email as well as displaying the appropriate attitude, verbally & non-verbally, in person.
  • Liaise with patients & visitors - Act as point person for whomever enters the clinic.
  • Insurance verification - Use online services and/or phone communication to verify patient's health insurance benefits.
  • Charting information - Accurately enter and maintain patient chart information while maintaining patient privacy.
  • Scheduling - Set up and maintain patient's schedules including use of waitlist to fill cancelations.
  • Payments - Explain and collect payments; use of point-of-sale device.

Requirements:

  • Compassion with the ability to communicate delicate matters like cost to patients in pain
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, scanner)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Excel and Office) and other computer programs
