Job Description

SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas, ensuring high-quality food, excellent presentation, and adherence to food safety standards. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow recipes, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Cook pizzas in ovens, monitoring cooking times and temperatures for consistency.
  • Ensure all pizzas meet quality and presentation standards before serving.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe dining experience.
  • Monitor ingredient levels and communicate supply needs to management.
  • Assist in other kitchen tasks as needed, such as prep work or cleaning duties.

QUALIFICATIONS (Select all that Apply):

  • Previous experience as a Pizza Cook, Line Cook, or similar role preferred.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including hand-tossing and stretching dough.
  • Familiarity with commercial ovens and kitchen equipment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
