Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Facilities Transition Project Manager to oversee the decommissioning and transition of an office suite. This role involves coordinating inventory, disposition of assets, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management to ensure a smooth, timely, and efficient space transition. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience with facilities or office moves, and excellent communication abilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct a comprehensive inventory of all items in the suite
+ Identify and categorize reusable, surplus, and e-waste items
+ Coordinate employee outreach to retrieve personal belongings
+ Manage the disposition of excess inventory following e-waste protocols
+ Organize surplus and reusable items for storage or reallocation
+ Coordinate with movers and vendors as needed for equipment and furniture removal
+ Assist in setting up temporary/transient workstations
+ Provide weekly status reports and progress updates to stakeholders
+ Collaborate closely with client and internal Operations team throughout the project
**Deliverables Include:**
+ Detailed Inventory and Disposition Reports
+ Employee Outreach and Storage Plans
+ Vendor Coordination Logs
+ Weekly Progress Reports and Final Completion Summary
**Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience in project management, facilities coordination, or office transitions
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
+ Familiarity with e-waste processes and inventory tracking a plus
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
