What You'll Be Doing:

Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments, diagnose mental disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Medication Management: Provide medication evaluations and ongoing pharmacologic treatment.
Collaborative Care: Participate in treatment planning, case conferences, and incident reviews as needed.
Patient Support: Provide emotional support and strategies to help patients manage their disorders.
Documentation and Research: Maintain accurate patient records and stay up-to-date on new developments in psychiatry and mental health.
What We're Looking For:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an approved psychiatric residency and a minimum of 3 years of psychiatric experience under supervision.
NYS Board of Psychiatry certification and license.
Current DEA registration.
Expert diagnostic skills and excellent knowledge of current DSM criteria.
Familiarity with crisis assessment tools and techniques.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
