Job Description

The Shift Manager oversees daily operations during assigned shifts at our winery and brewery, ensuring smooth service, exceptional customer experiences, and efficient staff management. This role involves supervising front-of-house and back-of-house activities, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the brand’s commitment to excellence in craft beverages.

Pay Rate : $17-$25/hr

• Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise all winery and brewery operations during scheduled shifts
• Lead and support staff, including servers, bartenders, production, and tasting room personnel
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service and hospitality
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS systems and online orders
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in customer and production areas
• monitor stock and product availability
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Train new team members and support ongoing staff development
• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
• Assist with events, tastings, and promotional activities as needed
• Staying up to date on alcohol certifications and enforcing PLCB regulations during your shifts

Requirements

• 1+ years of supervisory or shift lead experience, preferably in food & beverage, hospitality, or retail

• Knowledge or passion for wine, beer, and brewing/winemaking processes - and/or the motivation to learn!

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holid
