Job Description

Our Company SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services. NOTICE: SpecialtyRx is seeking a Travel Pharmacy Technician located in the surrounding areas of Dallas, TX. Responsibilities: Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.Replace potentially expiring inventory.Restock depleted inventory.Monthly audits (cycle count).Provide reports for the facility.Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: Important: Must be local to Dallas, Texas area.Licensed Texas Pharmacy TechnicianorPharmacy Technician Trainee.Previous pharmacy experience required. (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.Good organizational skills and detail oriented.Basic math and analytical skills.Ability to physically perform light lifting.A valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.Willing to drive long distances in the State of Texas.
