Schedule: 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM (Graveyard Shift)
Training: Onsite for 3 to 4 weeks before transitioning to remote
Location: Remote (after training)
Are you looking to make a meaningful impact in healthcare from the comfort of your home? We’re seeking a bilingual UM Coordinator – Inpatient & Specialty to join our fast-paced team, supporting timely care and medical service approvals for patients under commercial insurance plans.
This is a remote graveyard position perfect for someone detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to grow in the healthcare field.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Process inpatient and specialty medical authorization requests with speed and accuracy
Verify patient eligibility and coverage under commercial insurance
Apply your knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and medical terminology to review requests
Work closely with nurses, case managers, and providers to ensure complete and timely documentation
Perform accurate data entry and maintain compliance with managed care guidelines
Communicate professionally in English and Spanish with patients and healthcare providers
What We’re Looking For:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience, preferably in healthcare
Familiar with commercial insurance plans, UM procedures, and medical necessity guidelines
Background in Managed Care (HMO, PPO) or physician office settings strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
