Job Description

We are looking for a Wellbeing Fitness Coordinator (contract) for a top entertainment company in Bristol, CT!

Responsibilities:

• Perform front desk responsibilities, including but not limited to: Answering phones, emailing members, fielding questions, eligibility/waivers, etc.
• Register new participants and provide orientation to the Wellness Center and introduction of programs
• By request, complete fitness assessments and consult on fitness routine development that minimizes risks and improves health.
• Open, supervise and close facility as needed as part of work shift assignments always ensuring cross shift coverage.
• Instruct employees on the proper use of equipment.
• Assist in maintaining the facility and equipment with intermittent cleaning and preventive maintenance servicing.
• Assist in group exercise scheduling
• Supervise intramural program
• Coordinate programs and initiatives supporting wellness strategy; manage program logistics
• Assist in gathering metrics and tracking employee program utilization
• Assist in assessing program outcomes
• Provide an exceptional employee experience through customer service and program driven offerings
• Collect program feedback to change and implement future wellbeing offerings

Required Qualifications:

• Communicates effectively (verbal and written)
• 4 yr degree in Exercise Science/Health 
• Approaches work with passion
• Achieves customer satisfaction
• Leverages technology
• Short- and long-term project planning
• Demonstrates flexibility
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
• Holds one more certifications from various personal trainer and/or group exercise related organizations
