Position Summary

The Senior, Infrastructure Engineer is a key technical leader responsible for the design, strategy, and optimization of the organizations IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability across global operations. This role drives the adoption of new technologies and provides expert-level guidance on infrastructure best practices.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer serves as a subject matter expert, providing Level 3 support for Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, Windows servers, networking, storage solutions, databases, and enterprise applications. They lead complex projects, collaborate with business leaders, and work with vendors to architect and implement advanced infrastructure solutions.

This role is an office-based position, on a hybrid schedule, working at least four times weekly from the office. Our selected candidate will work from our location in West Palm Beach, FL. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this exempt position will be as follows: $110,000-120,000 plus a performance-based bonus up to 10% of annual salary.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related certifications (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 6-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.
Experience in driving enterprise wide infrastructure and networking project integration.
Experience with on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure (Windows & Linux).
Well versed in networking (Cisco & Meraki, firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise storage solutions.
SASE and SDWAN platform administration experience required.
Proficiency in Windows client, server administration and patching using SCCM.
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory and ADCS.
Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Azure Automation).
Excellent problem-solving skills and service orientation.
Experience administering Citrix VDI/Provisioning services.
Strong customer focus with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

Main Responsibilities

Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
Drive major IT infrastructure projects, such as datacenter onboarding, site acquisitions, and decommissioning, including design, planning, vendor coordination, and implementation.
Manage on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based infrastructure solutions to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Oversee the administration of Office 365, Active Directory, ADCS, SCCM, networking infrastructure, and SASE platform.
Maintain high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness across global IT systems.
Monitor system performance and implement proactive optimizations for stability and efficiency.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex hardware, software, and network issues, collaborating with vendors as needed.
Conduct infrastructure assessments and performance tuning to enhance reliability.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company security standards.
Implement and oversee identity and access management, encryption, and compliance best practices.
Collaborate with IT Security to conduct regular security reviews and risk assessments.
Support DevOps initiatives by integrating automation into system deployment and maintenance processes
Provide expert-level Level 3 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
Maintain and improve IT documentation, including SOPs, technical guides, and infrastructure roadmaps.
Partner with IT and business leaders to align infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level IT team members, fostering professional growth and technical expertise.
